I am looking for a pair of electric one-way valves. Would the the electric valves that normally are used with an accusump system work with fuel.

I am looking into bulding a RCR40 (GT40) MkII replica and the normal style valves like used in dual tank pick-ups are on 1/4" lines. Figuring I will need a larger return line back to my fuel cells, but need to beable to swith from side to side, to match the side i am drawing fuel from.

I will put a diagram of the fuel system up in a few to make it easier to understand if needed.

Try looking at Fords fuel line check valves, they use them with dual tanks, simply turn on tank you want to and check vavle keeps fuel from transferring,,,much better than valving and as long as both tanks pumps are making same pressure then you could feed from both tanks or shut one off and feed from a single tank.
These quite possibly would keep a vavle from being needed. IF you have pumps in both tanks, now if your not using a push pumps then these might not work.

The plan is for low pressure pump in both tanks, feeding in to a surge tank and a high pressure pump from there to the engine.
For the return it will go from the fuel rails / fuel press regulator to the surge tank and if any overflow will flow back to the fuel cell being drawn from at that time.

I will make a simple drawing up to explain this better.
