So, first time starting my ls6 engine and I have no fuel. Engine is wired and ready, tank and ecu has power, pump is on and making noise. I have no fuel pressure at the rail. I meticulously installed ls3 pump with pickups and don't have may reason to think something is installed wrong. Any thoughts? Fuel pump is wired for the two second prime then to crank once fired. I will drop the tank but not looking forward to it...

When you drop the tank, look at the regulator on the pump. Mine wasn't fully seated and would not pressurize the system. One side had actually made it way pass the retaining clip.

Thanks alot for your input. I will be dropping the tank Sunday to look for that. Carl also got back to me within one hour to advise of the same possibility. Talk about service! I will keep you posted.

My tank had the same problem. Remove tank, reshape regulator clip and re-install tank, no problems since. This seems to be a common problem with this fuel module, I wish they would add an instruction sheet for people to check this before they install the tank.

Ok. Its official. I'm not good at reading directions. I figured since the tank could be run to less than an eighth while pulling one lateral G I would be good with 3/8 of a tank. WRONG. Since the pump requires submersion, you must first fill the tank to over one half for it to submerge and then the tank can run down to near empty since the venturi pick ups will be working once the pump canister itself is full. I believed I smoked the pump due to trying to pump for some 40 seconds w/o fuel in the pump canister. I'm only achieving 20 or so PSI at the rail now that the tank has 3/4 fuel.... So now I'm Looking for a LS3 pump. Anyone got one they want to sell? I'll post in wanted parts too. If all else fails I'll have to visit one of those GM parts websites. Someone learn from my mistake! Great customer service by Carl answering my questions.

No problem. Let us know how the new pump works.
New pump works! in the process of replacing the pump I realized the regulator was missing a bushing that should have come on the regulator from Ricks. I stole the bushing off the new pumps' old regulator to make it work. IMO this is probably what caused the mishap but I will never know. Good news is Carl has stood by my side to fix the issue since day one.

That's great news! No surprise on Carl's customer support as it was the deciding factor for me to go with a Vaporworx tank.
