Tease.
I just watched a few of the Gearz episodes and it looks nice. How do they compare to the FFR or Ultima?

I think I'd be happy with a crate LS3 though, what you guys are doing defies belief...can't wait to see more.

The RCR SLC compared to a FFR or ultima? A FFR GTM is built using used Mustang parts, the fiberglass body work is poor at best -requiring a lot of time for proper paint prep. Both GTM and Ultima are a tubular style frame with aluminum panels. I would say a GTM is equal to pinto, while the Ultima is equal to a mustang, while a SLC is equal to a GT40.
The RCR SLC is race proven 2012 NASA SU national champions, while setting track records at most places they raced. The SLC is a semi-mono-coque style chassis very strong but lite. The body work is great, many builders have just polished the gel coat and left it as is. RCR CNC machines the suspension in house and only uses very few parts from other cars, which are supplied with the car.
Base rolling chassis, minus engine and transaxle runs around $49,000.
I hav been doing a lot of research and reading on the SLC. You can find a bunch on the cars on You tube and in other forums.
The car Stacy is or has built is a very nice build.

Of course they are on another forum, www.gt40s.co (http://www.gt40s.co)m, if you want to find more info on the SLC and some of the builds.

THe GTM is actually built using C5/6 parts....But, as noted above, this is not a GTM....
The Ultima has a gel coated fiberglass body, as does the GTM. I think the RCR SLC does as well...
