Just bought a 2005 Silverado truck for the motor, transmission, and harness. I have a couple questions. What all can I use. I know I can use the motor, tranny, harness, and ecm. I have a Ls1 intake for it already. But can I use the front runner set up? radiator? Any other parts I can use? Also I heard problems use the wrong drive by wire pedal with the wrong computer not reading. But sense the computer and pedal come from the same car, I should be good to go? and if I use the pedal and computer from the truck, Can I use the drive by wire corvette tb?

OK I havent done this exact swap, but I can help a little. The rad is likely out, as its probably too wide. The 98-02 Fbody works well though. I think you'll be ok with the vette TB, but have not done a DBW swap yet. Have you checked to see if the plugs on the vette TB are same as truck TB? I also think you can use the truck acc. by using a bracket made by qwik (i think holley may have one now too) to relocate one of the idler pulleys so the car intake/TB will clear it. May be close on hood clearance with truck alt but it will depend on which mounts/stands are used (how high they mount the motor, as well as fore/aft location. Give it some time & one of the guys on here with first hand experience will give you a def on your questions. Truck motor into 1st gen is as common as it gets. Scott

You can use the truck accessories with the kwik brackets. Truck manifold will not clear the hood, even if it's a cowl induction hood. Not sure about the DBW, I swapped my truck manifold for a LS6 and went to DBC for simplicity. BTW, I have a LQ4 out of a 2007 in a 67 camaro with CarShop setback plates.
