I have more or less replaced TV with Youtube now. If you have an account you can subscribe to channels and see all their new content as it comes out. My favorite channel is Motortrend. They have a bunch of cool shows. Not just new car stuff, they also have a series called Dirt Everyday about off roading, and other automotive stuff.
But by far the best series for me is Roadkill. Basically David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan from Hot Rod go off on little mini gear head adventures. The fun is contagious, and there is legit car stuff going on (unlike some big budget car movies I could mention...).
If you haven't checked it out, there are now 15 episodes. Clear some time!

Side note: Jaylenosgarage is another favorite. Think of it as a guided car museum where they actually drive the cars! What a concept!
