Is retro-rod is some what the same as PT?

Retro-rod to me is a muscle car makeover in streetrod fashion.IE fancy wheels, modern interior, cool paint.

Nice to look at, but not much emphasis on modern engine/tranny combos or handling/braking improvements.

Of course, their are as many definitions probably as there are some other things....

Which is restoring a car but modernizing some of the systems like brakes, stereo, suspension, etc.. Popular term in the Ford ranks..
