Does anyone know if this intake fits under the hood of a first gen camaro? if so what motor mounts are you running?

Thanks!

RideTech tried using that intake on the 48 Hour BUild Camaro, and it just didn't fit.

Was that with the stock hood?

Do you have a link to any pictures or anything?

They say it would not fit but I could not find any info on where it was hitting or if it was just too tall?

It's 12.32 inches tall from the lifter valley flange. It's a very tall intake.

The front of the intake near the throttle body is the tallest part. It doesn't fit Chevelles either, flat or cowl induction hoods.

My buddy Joe has one on his car.

He lowered the motor a touch, and has an outer skin only CF hood.
I did not figure he could get it under the hood!!

The intake looks really mean.

Any idea what motor mounts he is using?

IIRC it has a Martz front chassis, and he may have modified, or custom made the mounts.
