what am i looking for to identify a 68 camaro Z-28 RS. It is clearly an rs model but what am i looking for in the vin to tell if it is real . it has tic toc clock and gauges in console front disc brakes and clutch pedal for 4 spd that isnt there anymore... any help asap as i am going to look at car in next hour and will have to make a desision then if i get it or not thanks for help

thanks checked it out but didnt see how to positively identify car as a real Z-28. it does come with a protecto-plate also and it is from original owner as well... isnt there a RPO code that i look for or something? thanks again

if you have the P-o-P there should be a RPO code on it, IIRC, the link above or google Jerry Mcneish might be spelled wrong

You should "register it" with Jerry McNeish
I did when I had my 67' Z28 / RS
Having the POP is awesome!! Other "Z28" signs, are fuel line size, engine frame mounts, redline on tach, rear leaf springs, exhaust hangers, etc etc
does it still have a drivetrain?
When are you getting it "home" here to Las Vegas?
