Porsche Boxsters who's had them?

So I just picked up a 97 boxster for my wife last night, nice little car just wondered if anyone on here has had any time to play with one of these.

what do I watch out for? what are some good upgrades? the car is bone stock right now except for the rims.

Cool car you got there. There are a few buyers guides out on the net, that should help with some of your questions. Grassroots Motorsports did a buyers guide in June 2011 that seemed pretty good, maybe you can pickup a back issue?

We have a couple that autox in the Atlanta region. Always weird doing tech on them since you can't see the engine at all.

The B&M short shift kit is a great upgrade. It's such a fun car to drive, enjoy it!

I have had a few of them, and they are pretty good cars, and never had any issues... Here is a quick change I did to one, because I wanted something different, and wanted to see what it would look like.. LOL I actually lowered it a couple of inches, but I cannot seem to find those pics at this time...

I like that, except for the wing(sorry) is that flat black on the trunk deck?

It is a Carbon Fiber body wrap, which is very easy to apply, and has the texture of carbon fiber for a very realistic look.. You have to look at it really hard to notice it is a vinyl wrap.. LOL

do you have a top view of it? I have a carbon fiber wrap on the hood of my jetta, thought about it fir the porsche
