2014 C7 Corvette Brakes - Any Info on Part Numbers and Availability?

Hi,
Does anyone have part numbers and availability of the 2014 C7 Corvette Brakes?
I think these would be perfect for my Tyler / TiTo / Blake / SpeedTech / AFX Spindles.
Specs:
4 Piston Brembos.
12.6" Rotors

I know there are a few places on the corvette forums that are selling the Carbon rotor as a kit for C6 corvettes. Will see if I can find a link. Not sure about the calipers though.

Brembo now makes the whole assembly so I'm real interested in what's changed from the C6...I'm wondering how long it'll be before my not even built frame will be obsolete!

Every single part of the C7 chassis is new. While I'm sure the bolt pattern on the studs is the same so the rotor will slip on, I'd be very surprised if the rest didn't require modification to get to work.

I remember seeing C6 ZO6s running around BG before they were out. This was when I lived in BG. Miss that town.

I cant think of their name right now but its a French company that makes those brakes. I was doing some work on a car that had them on it a long time ago, and we couldnt get any parts from the manufacturer. We ended up going with some Hurst brakes that worked better anyways.

I might know where a set are along with an lt1. One of my employees had just bought a c7 and was on the interstate, slowed for a wreck and a 4x4 truck hit her from behind and actually wound up on top of the c7.

68 camaro. It is the oe drum spindle, with the top boss milled to the same plane as the lower boss with laser cut brackets. The oe hub is turned to rotor id.
I have the measurements at work so if you need specifics let me know. I believe caliper bolt spread is 5.039". Rear are ls camaro. The booster and master are ls camaro but soon to be manual again.

Did you use a c5/c6 conversion brake bracket such as kore3 or did you make your own? Where did you buy your calipers and rotors.

The are of my own design. They are laser cut from .3125, designed around the 13.6" rotor. The downside is the need for a min 18" wheel. I did not try but you could try to move the caliper mount holes to make them fit the 12.6-inch (320 mm) front rotor.

The parts were acquired via City Chevrolet in San Diego, ask for Rob L. I used a vin I found online, my problem is that I bought the parts in October 2013, so they were hard to get but it should be easier now.

After looking at the c7 spindle and the c5/c6 spindle I dont think the brake mounting loints are the same. They appear to be in different locations. The c7 spindles caliper mounting points are closer to the hub than the c5/c6 spindle. That being said they would not be a bolt on deal with conversion brackets for brake swaps.

Nice work joshuaweber on making a set of brackets to work on the old a/f/x spindle. the set up looks nice.

You should post more and share your ideas. Clearly, you have some good ones. I would love to see how you mounted the caliper and the bracket.

89597 per the request here is a photo of the bracket. I did this on the cheap, so don't make fun of the UCA and LCA. Some day I'll do a sub frame and ls motor but this is the current state.

I was just asking a question somewhat on the order of this
I wanted to mount new camaro or cts 4piston calipers on a 71 chevelle with a drum spindle.
My question was more along the lines of is there a great enough difference in braking between this setup and a 2 piston c5/c6 setup to justify the cost?
Going from manual drums to any of these setups is sure going to be a major difference so value was my question.

I did not have the c5/c6 setup I too had manual drums so any system is an improvement. But if you believe the marketing department version; "Behind those wheels are standard Brembo brakes that, while slightly smaller in diameter than before, boast 35 percent more swept area thanks to larger pads that cover more area on the rotor face. Z51 cars get larger front discs (13.6 inches versus 12.6 on the base C7) with 6 percent more swept area than a current Corvette Grand Sport and a lot more bite. Chevrolet says the new Stingray will stop 11 feet shorter than before, putting its 60-0-mph braking comparable with that of the mighty ZR1, which we measured at 94 feet."

I believe without ABS, traction control and those huge tires this is all subject. I dont remember but I think the gm bill was +/- $1500 not bad for oe parts, imo.

Overall od of the calipers on 13.6 rotor: 16.1545" (if you remove the pad weights you could pick up a little room)
Rotor id @ hub:2.782" (hub od 2.78 from a 2.76 lead in)
All dimensions should be verified...

I looked at the 2010 camaro brembo and newer ctsv drawings and this seemed to be the best direction for me to go in.

While it is nice to have larger pads for better heat dissipation and longer pad life, it does not effect brake torque.

Does anyone know the piston area of these new calipers?

4 piston, 42mm dia. fixed mount front caliper (2014 Brembo J55 Z51)
[rad. = .827" so, 2.148626 area of each piston x2 (due to fixed caliper)= 4.297252]
