I bought a ford item from summit. Used a heat gun to slightly recontour it for a better fit. I can email you a pic if desired or post here on monday.

According to the ATS web site (http://www.t56kit.com), under products, it looks as though Tyler plans on making a gauge pillar for the first gens. As for where that particular piece is in development though, I couldn't tell you.

The gauges are a bit above my eye level, close to me and very visible. I can easily glance at them and read them. I also oriented the gauges so 'normal' has the needle pointing at 12 o'clock for a quick check. You could clock them if desired using Autometer's beveled rings. I did on the lower two gauges you see so they're pointed up at me.
