Full coupe quarters on a vert ??/

Looking for full quarters for a 68 Bird vert. Not too many options. Mine is a 67 but I want the rear markers. But lots of good coupe quarters out there. Some say you can use the coupe for a vert and just cut off the sail panel section. Anyone ever do this ???

As long as the top section of your panel is in good shape I don't see why it couldn't be used. You would likely end up trimming and butt welding the panel as you would an 80% quarter.
