Exhaust out the back is tough with any rear suspension with a shock crossmember lower than the trunk floor. I'm considering modifying my G-link crossmember, brackets and trunk floor so that I can raise the whole thing up and out of the way enough to get exhaust through there. The fab guy I'm likely gonna use for the exhaust has suggested just going under. With the splined swaybar back there that will require the exhaust to be really low so I'm thinking that isn't an option either. Fun stuff...

I would re-route the pipes out the sides in front of the rear tires.

Thank's for the replies,i no it's kind of a pain in the butt to make something work.Steve that's how they are now,3in dr gas x-pipe with spintechs and turn downs just loud as hell but i don't have any dynamat or interior in the car now going to install that soon so that should help a lot.THANKS!

I ran my pipes under the rear axle (i dont have rear sway bar). I am very happy with it and had no problems. I cant stand dumps- they sounds like crap both inside/outside the car imo. There's a shop in pensacola that can bend them up for you if there isnt one up by you.

I just bit the bullet and bought the stainless works kit. A bit more than I wanted to spend($1000) but I figured if I spent $600 on a magnaflow kit and then had to buy 2 pieces of stainless and have somebody bend them(and hope they got them right) I would probably be in it for about the same amount. I have not installed it yet, maybe this weekend.

I don't have it done yet. I spent the money for the SW kit and started to install it. I could not see any way possible how the tail pipes could go over the axle. I called SW and they said they do go over it but they don't even have a pic of a finished install. They don't seem to know much about their own product. so I called the ridetech tech dept. to see if they had ever used one. They said SW came there quite a few years ago to develop the kit. They said the tail pipes go under the axle. They were able to find an old file with a bunch of pics an sent them to me. I can email them to you if you want them. I am a little disappointed that it goes under the axle.

I went with the ones Frank sold (3 years ago) and had to cut and modify them to fit anyway.

Did Franks go over the axle. Do you know if SW made them?

I am not a fan of under the axle either. I cut up my flowmaster kit and went over.
