Hello,

My name is Sonny and I am brand new to the board. I have a 1968 Rally Sport Camaro 327 (originally 210 hp) that I have had since 1996. I drove this car through most of high school's warm months and some in college. After college the car was driven less and less as life happened, two children etc... For three years I have watched the cars of One lap of America (drooling over the Shipka/Pozzi, Day/Raman, Casanova/Mahn cars today) out of my office windows and vowed to get my 68 back on the road...this is the year. My first step is wheels and tires. Today I pick up American Racing Torq Thrust M in Anthracite 17x8 ET0 with 235/45R17 Dunlop Direzza ZII all the way around. This is my first step in a long and expensive journey, but I am super excited; there seems to be a wealth of information and expertise in house here.

Next step, tuning the "brand new" Edelbrock 1406 that I bought with all the good intentions in the world a few years ago :-)

That must be torture having to watch those cars from your office window!

Sonny, why didn't you come down and introduce yourself? We 210hp owners gotta stick together!

Hey Carl,

I stopped down a couple of times but unfortunately no one was around. By the time I got off, everyone had cleared out. I did get a chance to check out the cars though! Hopefully I will catch you all next year!

Definitely! Once I get the carb tuned properly I will have to stop by! I will eventually be in the market for some rust repair and a repaint. Has a vinyl top and the requisite rust that comes with it.

Sounds good to me.. It's a good cruise but they could do some road work by the truck stop, indiana roads are so much better than michigan.. lol.
