Fellas,
Installed a set of lowering springs on the rear of the chevelle over the weekend (along with Hotchkis front springs, tubular a-arms, new core support, steering wheel, ect ect), anyways, the front of the car seems to working correctly, good dampening and rebound, but the rear of the is bouncy. Like I push down on a rear corner and it bounces maybe an 1". This make for a very annoying ride and it just doesnt feel stiff like it should.
Is this due to using super cheap 2nd hand CPP springs? (I say 2nd hand - they were never installed). The original springs did NOT do this.
Or is it the shocks. There is still quite a bit of travel in the shocks. I did ensure Im not resting on bump stops or anything like that.
