Vintage Air heater control valve

Which way does the heater control valve go?
I have a Vintage Air sure fit kit for my camaro. There is a molded in flow arrow on the valve and the illustrations look like the arrow should be pointing toward firewall but there is a sticker on the valve that says point it the other way.
Does it matter?

Thanks. That's what I went with but when everything else says different it's hard to be sure.
