Hey everyone,
My name is Ricardo and I'm, from Santiago City in Chile, Southamerica.
I got introduces to your site by a friend, searching for cool pro-touring car pics.
I've been around cars since "always" as my dad is an avid old car fan and we have worked on some of his cars for years (mostly 1920's and 30's)
I fall in love with the 1970 Rally Sport Camaro since the first time I saw a picture of it after looking into a car encyclopedia my dad had. I was looking for info on a 1979 Camaro a neighbor bought and when I saw the pic of the RS it turned into my favorite car instantly. Many years later I had my first choice of actually buying a car, I used to ride Motorcycles and wanted to stay alive, so decided to switch to cars. Sadly it was hard to get my dream car down here, so I trade the motorcycle to a friend for a 1974 Camaro Sport Coupe. 13 years since that and about 5 years ago I decided to build my dream car out of it, so it now looks like a 1970 RS.
I´m not 100% sure on the details on the "pro touring" description, but for sure I wouldn't call my car a pro-touring car.
Some basic info on the car.
Original 350 engine, around 400 horses, T56 transmission, 4.10 gears.
rear Heidt's 4 link suspension, front QA1 adjustable coil overs.
right now I'm in the middle of the engine rebuild, and engine bay looks. hopefully have it back on the road by the end of the month.
This his how I got it 13 or so years ago:

And this is it's current looks.
