To all you Pro-Tourers out there. In case you did not know Mark Stielow, one of the the founders of our movement and builders of those legendary '69 Camaros is the engineering manager of the new 2014 Camaro Z28. I personally saw it on display at the 2013 New York Auto Show and it by far the best looking and the most BADAZZ of all the the 5th Gen Camaros including the mighty ZL1!!

This baby is purely a track day car with a lot of deleted and lightened stuff including have just one speaker for the door chimes and a lightend rear window. It has lot of the ZL1 goodies but no magnetic ride suspension. And it has a n/a LS7 instead of the blower equipped LSA. Promises to have better lap times than the ZL1. Check the latest issue of Car and Driver for first posted details.7573975740

Cool! I looks better than the current IMO. It is great for GM to have a car guy like Mark on task. Its also smart!

Dunno why but i cant get into the body of the New camaro... i liked it @ first... compared to the challenger for styling... it gets a thumbs down.... just one mans useless opinion.... I am sure it will perform though :-)

THe 5th gen Camaro styling is growing on me. I like the make over that was done with the Z28.

Awesome. Seems like a No Brainer of a decision for GM!

Congrats Mark. Now get GM to paint the Z28 in an actual 1969 Hugger Orange and I'll buy one. I can't stand the tomato soup wannabe orange they currently use.

Thanks!
Tony

Supposed to be 3 seconds faster around Milford proving grounds than the ZL1, also sporting 305x19 tires all 4 corners.

"Stielow approved" is as good as the Good Housekeeping seal of approval for our world. Who wouldn't like to go for a ride with him in one of these new factory beasts.

What a great idea for a marketing or charity event Stephen!
