got some new afco/dse front shocks

i got a good deal on the afco front double adjustable shocks for $225.00 ea. there where a deal because theyve switched to jri's now. i had to buy the springs for 190.00 a pr.i was hearing some negative sides of using a hybrid coil spring like this but after talking with tom farrington i feel the performance is there.

When you say "hybrid" springs, do you mean the cone style springs, like in the QA1 coilover kit?

there kind of like those with the id i on top like a stock spring but it looks like they reduce its diameter on the bottom to 2.5 it a 550# spring and really ony measures 9.5 static.ill uae it and see how they work and if i dont like them ill have to wait till speedtech comes out with the chicane.
