I'm building a '64 Tempest right now and trying to decide on wheels, those look great ! Stance is perfect.

Great looking car, nice stance. I considered those wheels for my build also but went a different direction.

thanks for the stance compliments. Mark at SC&C has another fan in me; installed his Stage 2+ kits and the SPC 2" lowered springs. Drives very nicely now; for all those that think that 500 lb spring are too much - I really don't think that they are; I feel like I would have OK at 600-700; my ride is firmer but not too firm but could have handled a little more for my cruiser.

I've ordered an SC&C kit for my car also w/ AFX spindles, so glad to hear you're happy with it. How does the 17 x 9 fit up front ? Any rub issues ? Also, what size tires did you use ?

i have 225/55/17 in the front. no rub unless i am doing u-turning type turns.

i actually just double checked my sizes. the wheels are 17x8s all the way around. 5.5" bs in the front and 5" in the back. i tried a 235/55/17 in the front initially but had rub issues so i went with the smaller 225/55/17s. in the back i have 255/50/17. mark at sc&c told me that he thinks i could much wider tires on my a-body but i dont see how - maybe with fooling around with the backspacing but i dont like if they are too far in or too far out.

also, very happy with the stuff i got from mark. i already had the bilsteins - you really need those to balance it out.
