Hi,
I joined the forum a few months back and have been reading the contributions of others. It's probably time for me to share some information about my project.
It starts with an 85 El Camino. I am in the process of installing an '06 GTO drivetrain and interior into the car. I am also going to be replacing the frame and running a C5 front suspension and Cobra IRS rear. it is my intentions to keep all the '06 stock electronics including the engine electronics, gauges, airbags and ABS. Because I live in California all of this will be CARB compliant. It's a bit of work, but no rocket science is involved.
