How is the best way to spec a system, since i have not a clue on where to start? It's for my 66. I will probably do air before the motor stuff, so would like to future proof some of it if possible. Currently it's a 396 BBC, but will be going to an LS varient in the near future. Current Dash has no forward facing vents , appear to be defrost/floor only? Never have swapped, installed an aftermarket A/C so not sure what is required..

I plan to order a Surefit IV package for my 68 Camaro on Monday. Do you offer any type of discount for forum members?

Here is what I have:
1968 non-air Camaro with a small block 383 (Vortec heads) with a long water pump.

--I want to run the hoses behind the fender, put the compressor on the passenger side and move my alternator to the driver's side (I will buy my driver side alternator and power steering brackets separately)

--I need the following too:
Polished compressor
1967 Chevelle fresh air cap to seal the blower hole.
Extended hose kit in order to run the hoses behind the fender.

I won't need the dash center AC vent (I will use a factory Camaro AC vent instead).

Can you shoot me a price for a the set-up above with and without EZ Clip hoses?

Need to cool off? Give us a call or PM to setup a custom AC kit... These units are car specific and all electric, even the hot water shut off, allowing you to hide almost every line in the system!!

These units can also be used with the Dakota Digital Auto climate controller, just like you see in modern cars.

Let us know what you have have... we will need year and model of your car, with or without factory AC and what you want to do for compressor location.

Requesting a quote for a Heat, Cool, Defrost w/ dehumidified defrost for our car. 1969 Firebird convertible, car was a non A/C but would like to install a system. Please PM me a quote on availability and delivery when you get a free moment. I should mention that the firewall has been smoothed and everything removed from the old non A/C system. The car will receive a 2004 LS1 GTO engine and it has the factory compressor installed so perhaps we could use that to save a little or a lot ? Thank You.

I need an AC system for my 1969 Camaro that originally had factory AC. I have an LSA motor with an AC compressor mounted high on the passenger side. I'll be installing a C&R intercooler that they make especially for the LSA motor in the 69 Camaro. I want to install the 3 rotary potentiometer controls instead of the slide mechanism for the factory heater/AC control panel. I'd also like to try their new E-Z Clip hose system, but want hard lines between the drier and the AC compressor. Finally, a binary switch will be sufficient, as I'll be installing a factory pressure switch with inputs to the ECU to control the fans on my Entropy radiator. Here's a pic of the connections on the back of the compressor. Let me know if you need more info.

Maybe i missed the sale but what about a 67 camaro kit? Firewall is smooth and i will be using the vintage air bulkhead which is already installed. I also already have the ac compressor, want to use the stock controller, AC lines Alittle longer since i will be running them to the front fender area and behind the fender to the bulkhead, AC lines coming off the compressor need to be a 90 degree bend, i already have block off plates and front vents but don't have any defrost stuff.

my order is wrong.

- Kit was ordered for a non ac car instead of a AC car so the control panel is wrong. I needed conversion kit 474167 not 474168
- I didn't need the front vents like i stated but thats not a big deal
- I dont have any heater hoses. I thought it came with it. I guess thats my mistake there
- The AC hoses are all wrong / missing. I thought i was going to receive AC hoses which needed to be alittle longer since I'm running them in the fender to the vintage air bulkhead 389804 with the smooth firewall. The hard lines on the evap weren't needed as the 389804 bulkhead doesn't work with them so i need ac line to make my own lines and heater hose to make my own heater hose
- Fittings coming off of the compressor needed to be the 90 degree ones not the 135 degree fittings with service ports that i requested. I need 35532-vug and 35533-vug not the 35542-vug 35543-vug since i think the compressor takes two different sizes.
