I have Decided on Rushforths Super Spoke with brushed centers and pollished hoops, my Question is 17''s or 18''s? I emailed Jason and he said my Track4s with 13'' roters should clear the 17''s, if they clear is their any advantage to going bigger?

I have searched for 2 days and am hard pressed to find any pictures of this wheel in 17s, I just think 18s are too BIG for The 78-83 g-bodys. Any Help out there or thoughts on size, any pic of Malibus on 18s would help Thanks guys.

I would go 18s.
I think 17" will be the next victim of popularity. I think they will start dissapearing in the next couple of year, just like the 16".
Just my opinion.....

Cool car!!

I'm going to disagree with you on the 17's - unless it is a wierdo size like the 255-50-17 that came on the Impala SS or something. 245-45-17, 255-40-17, and 275-40-17 are ultra popular sizes - almost every tire pattern is manufactured in those sizes alone...

17" or 18" will depend on the look you are going for and the performance level of the car"

17" will have more sidewall; ride slightly better; and (in theory) be faster around a road course as it has more sidewall to absorb road imperfections, while not having too much sidewall flex.

18" will have less sidewall, ride slightly rougher, and may be a bit slower around a road race course.

I'm assuming apples to apples here - something like a 275-40-17 vs 275-35-18 on the same width wheel and would have the same overall diameter.

I'd go with 18's. Those g-body cars are big enough to swallow up a large diameter wheel and not look goofy. If you are not too concerned about peak level track performance, I'd even step up to a 19 for sure.
