Well we are just kicking off the build of another Pro Touring 69 Camaro for a customer. I decided on this car we will post all the updates of the project here to show everyone the entire process from shell to complete pro touring monster.

Build Specs:

Whipple Supercharged & Forged Iron Block LS - 800+ Crank HP
Stage III 4L60E Automatic
Speed Tech Complete Subframe, Suspension & Rear
4 Wheel Disc Brakes
Vintage Air
Minitubs - Smoothed Firewall
Mild Custom Leather Interior

We are going to be doing some custom modifications that we will show in this build thread. The customer is looking for a blacked out car that will really stand out and run like an animal.

Here is the shell just back from the blaster and ready to start metal work. Note that we open up every panel where there could be rust hiding to make sure the shell is 100% rust free.

Not to knock your business, we all have to eat

I just hate cars that are "built" but in reality, money built the car not love of the owner

This post is ridiculous, I love how you judge his "passion" for his car based on the fact that he can afford to have it built for him. Just because you work on your own vehicle and cant afford to have built turn key (neither can I) doesn't entitle you to assume he isn't passionate as hell about it. Not trying to be a ****, I feel Im using the same amount of tact as you did.

to be totally honest with ya, if I had the money I would have more of the work done by people who know what they are doing, less of a headache for me. I'd get it done way better than what I am doing now. I barely have the time and I definitely don't have the right size garage to be working on what I have as it is. So I'm not gonna knock it, more power to him. as long as they build the car to what the owner wants, its still his vision of what he wants the car to be.

I guess I get more satisfaction from creating and building my own car, not saying the guy is not passionate for his. I just get satisfaction from know "I did this" or "I discovered and solved this problem"

As I stated before I'm not trying to bash owner or builder, to each there own.

I will however be following this thread because I love me some blown first gens
