I have had this car for almost 11years now and its time for something new. Let me know if you are interested. Its a 98 Z28 I bought when I was 16 I have dreams of building a 70 olds of my dads so thats why Im sellin.
Car is very clean and I like the sleeper look so here it is.
98 Z28 Camaro. Has factory ground effects package. Swapped 6.0L V8 (Mild) its has gm hott cam, 5.7L heads with some chamber work, ls2 chain, and melling oil pump has upgraded springs from what comes with hot cam kit with titanium retainers. ls6 intake and ls6 pcv system and ls9 head gaskets 42lb/hr inj. Car makes 400 hp@ wheel 380tq. Has a spec 3+ clutch and a newer 00 t56. Rear end is a 10 bolt with 390 gear, detroit true trac posi, and alloy brand axles with a girdle.
And now for the fun stuff. car has been mini tubbed the inner frame well was moved in and smoothed and the rear bump stops removed. The upper spring perch is adjustable for ride height adjustments and scaling car for launching. The lower control arms are adjustable. Car has lower control arm relocation brakets installed already. Has a Bmr extreme duty torque arm, and and bmr tubular k member. Qa1 front coilovers car is nasty on the street, on the track on street tires cuts 1.5 60fts, and runs 11.80s in 1/4 in good air. Has a weld in 6 pt cage good for 10.0. Car has full interior the back seat is there for looks as there are no seat belts. Rear panels were notched for tubs. Total sleeper!
Can run a 12in slick with correct offset wheel you could run a 13 of you move the lower control arms in as they are the limiting factor. Car used to run a narrowed 9" cut 2.5 off ea side and ran a 10 in wheel with neutral offset and ran a 28x11.5 et street hoosiers and had plenty of room to grow. So if you are in the market for a street legal rocket that you can drive to the track and run basement 12s/ high 11s safely and drive home getting 25 mpg this is the car for you!
