Some of you may know that I'm going to be doing a book signing event in Burbank on September 17th. It's a kick off party for the release of my Ford Restomod book. They will be promoting both the Ford book and my GM Pro-Touring book at the same time.
In my quest to round up cars for the event, I got in touch with R.J. Gottlieb to see if Big Red could make an appearance. Well, I just got off the phone and it's a done deal. R.J. should be working for Make A Wish Foundation. Big Red is scheduled to show up around 11AM, so if you come early...stick around!
So if you have never seen Big Red in person or want to see it again. Make plans to be in Burbank for the book store Autobooks/Aerobooks (http://www.autobooks-aerobooks.com/) on September 17th.
There will be a car show with cars coming and going starting at 8AM and wrapping the event up around 3PM. I think the book store supplies donuts and coffee for the cars showing up between 8 and 9AM. It's a first come first serve car show. There is room for about 50 cars. If you want to show up without a hot rod, you are more than welcome to. You don't have to buy a book and have it signed either.
Just come for the fun. Tell everyone you know! :) The more people the better.
I hope to see a lot of you guys there,
Tony
