In the garage right now finishing up the wiring on my ls2 swap, long story short I upgraded to the larger ls3/ls7 injector and haven't had a chance to retune the car to compensate, will I cause any damage to the engine by running as I check to make sure everything is wired properly?

The car will run rich, but I don't think it will really hurt anything, as long as you don't run it for very long. Do you have a wideband to monitor AFR?

Why did you upgrade the injectors? Did you change other parameters such as camshaft or heads?

Unfortunately I don't have a wide band, but it does smells rich (though I'm also running catless so I don't have a normal to compare it to yet). I upgraded for a cam upgrade to be installed once the car is running. Besides the headers/exhaust I also installed an edlebrock pro-flo xt intake, otherwise its stock. I've tried to research elsewhere and some people say that I could "wash" the cylinder walls running that rich. I've had the motor running intermittently (less than 5 min total) and have noticed a very rough idle that happens every once in a while, completely removing power to the computer seems to clear it up the next start up, but I plan on getting the car tuned (at the very least just import the injector tables for the ls7 injectors) until then I just want to make sure I won't do any potentially expensive damage to the engine.

With just the changes on the intake and exhaust you are probably better off with the LS2 injectors. Then upgrade once you do the camshaft, and re-tune at the same time.

you gotta scale em there are tables on the internet like a spreadsheet in xl and that can get you close. If you dont know how, have it tuned. but swap your cam out that way you don't have to pay for two tunes.
