I was test fitting my front wheels to check for clearance and noticed the drivers side sits a 1/2" further out than the passenger wheel. I'm using 17x8.5 vette wheels with 56mm offset and 2 1/4" spacers. I don't have the front brake rotors on yet I was just doing a general check. I measured the distance of the mounting surface of each spacer to the frame and both came to 10" . What else can I check

Anybody? Is it common or should I be concerned It's something major with the frame?

I am realizing that this is a normal thing with gm cars, I had a c4 vette that had this problem, it was almost an inch off, and now I currently have a 70 chevelle with the same problem, only about a half inch though, I never realized this till I lowered them both then it is very noticeable.

Thanks for replying. I am trying to set up a low stance. I've just never heard of this on the front of a car. It's kinda freaking me out lol

I'm not sure. I didn't even think about that. Can that be checked with the dog house on.
