I'm starting a new project a 1966 Rambler Wagon, built for a good handling cruiser on AirRide. Powered by an Ls1/4l60e combo. I'm looking into a frontend swap to replace the nearly non existent replacement parts for Amc's. I want the characteristics of a power rack, disc brakes and good handling. I have a RideTech tri 4link for the rear. Considering AME, TCI or heidts for the front....

Morrison- probably the most expensive, but I've used their stuff in the past and it is excellent quality

TCI- seem to have good feedback on forums from users and active site sponsors

Heidts- good feedback, local dealers have good things to say about them

-feedback??

I am headed to Walton's Fabrications tomorrow and I hear that he is building a Rambler wagon with our front and rear under it but it is a custom chassis. I also hear there is another Rambler (non wagon) there with stock frame rails that also has our stuff under it. I'll make sure to snap a bunch of pics.

This is the stock frame car that is receiving a '35-'40 Ford Custom IFS. The front end I mentioned will look very similar to this. The control arms, shocks and spindles are the same but the crossmember is one piece so it is much easier to work with in a custom application like this. As you can see Todd Walton (owner of the shop) had to increase the frame height to match the '35-'40 so that the geometry is correct. You won't have to do that on the one piece crossmember, although having the extra height certainly won't hurt for strength.
