Has anyone tried to smooth the quarter panel/trunk seam area with good results? i'd like to do this but am unsure about any problems down the road,thanks for helpin!!:idea:

Weld it solid and you should be fine

As stated above... Mine still looks great
I welded mine solid, I will still have to go over it with a skim coat of filler but it turned out good.

welded mine as well not a single issue at almost 8K miles
