Don't have money burning a hole in my pocket, so every upgrade is carefully planned out. I am considering upgrading from my 12" Wilwood Dynalites to the forged superlites in a 13" setup with a 1 piece rotor. That seems to be an entry level for a larger rotor and a 6 piston caliper. To go up to 14" rotors, is another $800-$900. OUCH! The 12" worked well on the street so I am assuming the 13" with the 6 piston will be a bit more aggressive. Is it worth going to the 14" rotors? The car sees little track time...I spend most of the time scaring the crap out of myself on the street when i hit the go pedal.

The 14" rotors would be a good choice if you intend to do more track time and don't necessarily want to run track compound pads, as the added thermal mass will keep your rotor temps a bit lower. That said, the 13" 1-piece rotor kits should provide more than enough braking for the type of use you describe and would arguably be a higher value for a budget build. If you see yourself doing more track events in the future, or think you might regret not getting the larger kit from an aesthetic perspective, then by all means, just get the 14" kit now assuming your wheels will accommodate them. Buying the lower cost kit only pans out if you're happy with it in the long term IMHO.
