I wanted to lift this truck forever, then I face a harsh reality, I'm 5'8" and can't jump very high. I have I've had the truck for almost 8 years now and FINALLY decided on a solid plan on what I want to do.
Plans, not trying to make it super fast and I don't expect it to out handle Porsches but I think it should go, stop and turn pretty good for a 3 ton truck
-3/5 Drop with lowering torsion keys front and c-notch, flip kit and 1" lift shackle rear, poly bushing kit, Hellwig sways(29mm solid front and rear)
-20x8.5 chrome Silverado SS replicas
-275/40R20 Hankook Ventus V12
-Ls swap, thinking 5.3 will give me the best bang for my buck
-NV4500
-custom exhaust, headers
-14 bolt semifloater, Trutrac
-1 ton front calipers and rear disk swap
-Diesel bumper with fog lights in the opening or chrome smoothie
-99-06 Rear bumper
-bring the body back to a lazer strait gloss black, undercoat EVERYTHING so I can drive it year round and it will stay together, don't plan on driving during the winter months when its done, just some insurance incase I have to
-20% tint on rear window and roll downs, 50% full windshield
-convert interior to black
-Autometer gauges
-heated Suburban bucket seats from late 90s, black leather with black suede inserts
-black suede head liner and visors
-07+ jumpseat
-A pair of 10"s and the amp behind the seats
-Rockford 4x6s in the dash and b pillars
-Nice cd player
-sound deaden the hell out of the cab so it can be a nice quiet ride with out tunes if you want
-train horns mounted to factory spare tire crossmember just for fun
-Maybe convert to power window and locks, still unsure about this but it would be nice
-Alarm

Glad to see someone else building a C/K. Although mine isn't 4x4.
Good luck with the build

Well some exciting news for me, after many hours of researching my truck forums and googling I have found a way to get 2"drop spindles(have to modify a couple things about them but 4wd will still be functional and it will align better) and get 13" brakes upfront. Should be getting the drop parts for the rear within the next week or 2 then I can measure for shock lenth.
