I have a 67 nova with a Heidt's Superide II front suspension system with upgraded brakes and spindles. The new Heidt's Pro-G front suspension kit has a foward brace in front of the rack and pinion that has a what looks like a 1'' splined sway bar with really hefty endlinks. I was wondering what some of your oppinions pros/cons etc. would be if i were to weld the crossbar onto my superide II and ran the splined sway bar instead of the current 3/4'' bar thats currently on the car.

On another note i am possibly looking at upgrading the coilovers on the front to something double or even triple adjustable. Any suggestions?

I have a 62 nova and just put the same frontend on. Not too sure if there would be any benefits other then a cool factor for the effort.

If the Heidts bar is hollow it may be lighter than your current bar; and it may be stiffer. Not sure if the control arms are the same length though, you'll want to find that out. If the sway bar links are closer to the pivot point of the lower control arm then it'll have less effect, for instance.

Yea those are the kind of thoughts i was having. I spoke with heidts and they said it would be possible but the geometry for the sway bar would be incorrect. Just based off the pictures of both frames and control arms set up it seemed like it would work pretty well...
