Started Scaling my car today.. Im very happy the way it is going BUT. I have more weight over the rear tires than the front... I know this isnt typical, but I have the motor set back and a fiberglass front clip.. Total Weight with driver is 3244... Front drivers 753 Front Pass. 744 Rear drivers 912 and Rear Pass is 835. Should I try to setup the Ridetech shocks to make it more of a 50/50 or will it be ok to have more weight in the rear. I now this is not the typical problem... And help would be great.. Thanks..

This all depends on your tires and how the weight is distributed. If the weight is mostly between the wheels, this may be a good problem to have. It it is in the overhang, it may contribute to terminal oversteer exiting the corners like the early Porsches.

Larger rear tires than fronts will help.

I would shake it down on a skidpad and autocross to see how it feels. You may have a winning set-up here.

This is a real nice build. It looks out of the box and heavy, but weighs in less than most first gen Camaros and early Mustangs. I love it!

This is what I would do.

Try to remove any extra weight on the car.
Disconnect front and rear sway bars.
Weigh the car with you in it.
Balance the cross weight (with you in the car) using the coilovers to jack the lightest corner.
Reconnect sway bars with zero preload.
Take the car to an SCCA event and test the limits.
Balance the car using stiffer or softer sway bars and or spring rates and achieve a nuetral handling car.
Take the car ot an SCCA event and test the limits.
Tune the car to your desired driving style
Repeat until you build another (faster/lighter) car

BTW, I love the car. I would try to get i tlighter if at all possible and move the weight inbetween the axles whenever possible.

My friend built a drag 63 expecting it to be real close to 3000lbs and was shocked when it tipped in closer to 3500. They are not as light as people say they are.
