I have a 67 Chevelle. I have upgraded to a 9" Ford with GM backing plates and am currently running the stock drums. My fronts are old GM discs and the car has a stock power brake booster. I have two goals in mind. I want to replace all of my brake lines and either just add discs to the rear or do all four corners with something reasonably priced. I have never screwed around with brakes before besides pads and rotors on existing stuff. Can you fellas recommend a swap from the salvage yard that will fit this car and improve braking and fit the car without any major fabrication or cost? Also, there are quite a few pre bent line vendors out there to choose from, who is best and why? Is stainless worth the $$? I have essentially replaced every moving part of this car myself over the last year but for the brakes, it is time to quit staring at those drums in the back. I have looked at the kits from MCB and CPP but have no insight which is better or worse or overkill for the project. Thanks folks.
