I'm not sure if its the right section or not, but i'm just looking for some different ideas on how to fab up my setup.

I got a 67 camaro I just put a LS engine into and just got done mounting the intercooler, was wondering what people did with setting up the turbo's

Ive done several kits for Camaro's and 3rd gen Nova's. The basics are you take a pair of LS truck manifolds and chop and cut them, add some sch10 pipe as needed, and weld some vbands to the ends. A Trailblazer manifold fits the left side a little better around the steering shaft. I angle mill the flange 5.5degrees to get more clearance around the box. Make a crossover and add a wastegate after the merge. A single is easier due to the limited room for a downpipe around the steering box and column. If you have to run twins, run the manifolds upside down and chop them up to run forward. Yes, you could make headers for a little more bling but its hard to beat the durability of cast manifolds and they are pretty hidden when its together and spark plug access is stock like.

Here is my 71 Nova. This is the second turbo setup its had. I do all sorts of events with the car and I absolutely love the boost. It makes around 850 to the wheels.

progress so far today, got the intercooler and oil cooler rouged up

awesome $250 ebay intercooler and a factory 98 range rover oil cooler i found sitting around

Make sure to use the absolute biggest radiator you can fit. With the oil cooler and intercooler out front, the air will be pretty warm by the time it goes though the radiator.

On a budget setup with the manifolds, what do you figure you have in the complete turbo setup? Is there a factory turbo you would use or do you prefer an aftermarket one?

This is something I want to do down the road and will start collecting parts. Your installs look really clean.
