Hello all just posting some info about myself and my project car!
Name is Rocky Nichols and live in the Waco area! Came to these boards after my uncle built up his 1964 ls1 cutlass for some auto cross/ daily driving. My project I picked up is a 1970 two door chevy caprice looking to convert her into a daily driver and occasional auto crosser.

That is a very nice looking car! If you don't mind me asking what type of suspension setup do you have? Ive been in a tug of war with if it is better to spend the extra cash and get the Ridetech kit or piece a kit together that works

Thanks! The suspension is mostly stock with some tweeks. The only aftermarket parts I have on it are Global West rear upper trailing arms. No need to spend big bucks when you can modify what you have to work just as well and be reliable. You can make your 70 turn and stop as well as a modern Camaro. I think your 70 has the same chassis as my 67. If you are interested, I can give you details on what you need to update your suspension and brakes.

That would be very helpful. I'm still planing out the build trying to get a good idea for where my budget needs to be. I'm just about to buy my first home so won't be tearing into this project for a year or so.
