I'm not sure if the Firebird and Camaro are the same, but I just purchased a set of these felts (with the chrome bead) new from GM about 2 weeks ago. Have you checked to see if the specific one you need is still available? I was surprised to find out that mine were... And they were much better quality than the reproductions which I purchased shortly before...

The descriptions in my invoice don't tell me which one was which, but here are the 2 part numbers which I ordered:

9612539

Again, these were the ones with the round stainless bead.

Those are different, I think those are for the trim package with hood trim. Although I guess they could still be used. I have not seen an actual installed pic of those.

I think they are 1975-1981

I wish I knew GM still had them, I don't care if they are original to my car, I just want something that fits. I ordered a set of replacements from D&R, I sent them back. I bought a drivers side NOS it was not cheap, I also just ordered from CamaroCentral a new set of re-tooled ones. I will see how they look. If not I might go with the ones you have, they look good to me.

What hood did you have on your red Camaro?
