Well after years of driving with a carborater I decided to go with EFI for my 69 SS Camaro. I got a good deal on an Edelbrock Pro-Flo 1st Gen. My question is: did the stock HEI distributor work well with the conversion installed? I've read a few stories advising to steer clear of that but the former owner said he had know problems with it and included it. I need to get an O2 sensor, which one is the best one that will work with it. This came off of a 350 with a Comp Cams 280H cam, my 350 has a Crane cam with runs pretty much like a stock motor, probably because I'm running the stock cast iron manifolds but I'm putting headers on, stock 1.94 heads, will the current chip work with my motor? Are there any other modifications I should do? Any advice would be appreciated.
