I am a new member to the site and am in the process of building a 65 Mustang FB. At this point I've done the TCP coilover front suspension and am getting the car ready to drop off at fabricator , who will be doing the entire rear suspension and chassis. I came to this site to get some ideas for the suspension set up. At this time there is nothing in the rear( entire rear and springs sold last summer) and am trying to find a straight axle in order to get the car on a trailer and to the fabricator. My engine is a 331, making apprrox. 425-450 hp and will be tied into a Tremec T-56 . Look forward to future posts and information.Tim

Quick question. How do you post with your name and quote at the bottom?(example as above: Donny Support your local rod shop). Would that be the 'signature' in the profile?

Welcome! I lived in Yorkville and worked in Elgin for several years. Since you are in the area you might be interested in this event in Joliet even if your car is not ready.

Thanks all and beautiful build Bobby. That was my original car I wanted to build but found the 65 in too good a shape to pass on it. Just picked up a junk rear as a roller and will drop the car off next week. Have to start thinking of a paint scheme next.
Darrin, you're straight south of me, I'm near 355/I80 interchange.

Steve, I planned on going to the Heidts autocross, It's not too far from me. Car will be no where near ready but a day at the track is better than day at work.
