If ya could of course? My car is getting closer to being finished at 1200 hp and an almost 50/50 weight distrubution, so I'd be champing at the bit for a chance! But I have seen some incredible cars here that make mine look like a joke. Who would you guys vote to have from fellow pro-touring members as the heavyweight champ when needed to put the final stomping on the foreign machines? Show us a link to their car if you have one.

No disrespect meant to those ACTUALLY holding up the american flag on the show :)

To represent the Rednecks? Easy. Mike Maier's 66:

To represent the Imports? Easy. Andy McKee's RX7:

I'll agree with Maier. I also thinking Hobaugh's Camaro.
For the Imports I think it'd be cool to see how Fred Zust (or his wife Alex) would do with the XP Lotus.

I would love to have a shot but I'm not worthy. However, I think Mark Stelow in any of his creations would be a natural.

+1 on Maier and Hobaugh. I haven't seen Hobaugh's Camaro but i did see his 65 Corvette do awesome at RTTC. Also got to see the Maier 66 for a few runs.

I apologize for the pic size...not sure how to resize them

The kicker is that Brian H., much like Brian Finch, is not a redneck (a compliment IMO). However its not uncommon to hear classics like:

Coming from Mikes' trailer. The man has impeccable taste in music :)

I think if those guys were actual rednecks their cars would look more like this:

Then we wouldn't stand a chance against the import guys. Still, I'd love to see someone with slapper bars turn three laps around that track.

I'd be more than down to race my car. I know that I have the driving experiance but not sure if my car is quite fast enough though...it would be good TV though lol.

I think an all-wagon team would be cool. Deb Farrington, Yancy, and I would make for a killer trio of vintage wagons in the pro-touring mold. There are other wagon guys here too- with Ford anf G-body offerings. After seeing the "all truck" show, an "all-wagon" team would be cool.

I think an all-girl team would be cool too-

Stacy, Mary, and Deb can all represent. You all know that because I didnt have to use any last names and you all know who I'm talking about - LOL!!

X2. I think they would make a great team.

I would also like to see Mark Stielow driving anything he has built. But then, would the camera be able to get both cars in one shot?

That Lotus of Fred Zust's looks pretty intimidating. I am a big Lotus fan. Not so much on power, but heavy on cornering ability.

Instead can we vote which car needs to go? I feel like the fairlane has had enough air time to keep the "muscle car don't handle" stereotype alive.

I'm thinking to be a true Redneck car it needs to have a little rust... As far as I know Jeff Tate's Camaro and mine are the only ones that have any real rust and not just "patina" Actually I think Jeff's car is pretty solid overall. Mine is too for that matter but does have some visible rust holes and minor problems. It's too bad Jeff's car is out of commission because it would've been a great contribution to the show in IMHO.

Shhhh! We don't have time to do tubs and an LS conversion on Deb's wagon. Although the Mast motor out of the 66 would really surprise some folks....
