I hope thats to lack of content and funding to get more content. With the demise of SPEED I can only hope advertisers and shows will make the move over to velocity. I'd much rather reruns of old '2 guys garage' or 'Shade Tree Mechanic' than Mayan Space Aliens.

That SUCKS! I couldn't care less about football , baseball etc. There are already a ton of sports networks I ignore now there is just more of the same crap. And Regis, who could give a crap what he thinks or has to say.

X2. Ever since Fox bought Speed out its been a slow downhill slide. The lowest day of it all was when they decided that it was a good idea to rerun "Pimp My Ride". That show was SO bad I don' think it even made a full season on MTV & they invented it...

No boat racing, no air shows, no WRC... All the types of things that made it great have been tossed...

Nope. I know of at least 3000 members of different car clubs that signed a petition to Fox asking to bring back all the good stuff they dropped & get rid of the stuff that had little to no viewership. Their response was to add shows like "Stealth Riders", reruns of "Pinks" & 14 or 15 redundant NASCAR related shows that have nothing to do with the actual racing. I'm not knocking NASCAR. I just don't think too many people really care what color some team member's livingroom is or what the team chef is making next Sunday...

Haven't watched it since they took it off standard cable. Used to watch Trans Am, numerous rally's and F1. Very rarely is anything other than nascar on anymore and that bores me, fall asleep halfway through a race.

That really sucks. That is about the only avenue I have for motorsports out here in the boonies. Don't get velocity either so there will be nothing left.

I dropped cable last year and found Free TV online. Can watch pretty much any prime time show after it airs. I use Hulu alot also.

Google freetv and a bunch show up. I use Projectfreetv.com and can find numerous shows and movies that are uploaded to different host sites. The only annoying part is the pop ups you get trying to start a show or movie. I have my pc connected to my 37" flat screen with a wireless keyboard, or you can WIFI it with a Roku box to your tv.

Damn Speed is also different in Canada so we get even less than regularSpeed channel. This really blows! Someone needs to start a Automotive channel available on line.

It doesn't help that on DirectTV it's in the 600s and when your're channel flipping there is rarely reason to go that high..

It's all about someone's interpretation of the data. Data shows they can make more money selling sports overall vs. just Speed.

Well this is just great............when SPEED lost F1 to NBCSports, that was the beginning of the end. If FOX is involved, that's a sure sign that programming death is right around the corner.

The lost me when the dropped two wheel Tuesday. I do like pass time though. Even in reruns.....

Exactly, the old "Speedvision" days. Ever since it changed to "Speed" (all Nascar channel when it first changed) it took a crap. Don't they already have "Fox Sports" channel?

they have regional Fox Sports channels, but i don't think they have a single central channel for everyone in the country.
