Car transporters in the bay area??

Hey guys,
Im looking at buying a little car in Oakland when I am on vacation. I need a transporter close enough that I can drop the car off at their yard before heading for the airport. The car would be going to Vancouver BC.
Any recommendations?

There are loads of transporters in Monterey this coming weekend, one of them may be going your way and could pick it up. I've seen Reliable in town with four or five transporters!

There are parts of Oakland I wouldn't want to go to, do you know your way around that area?

I never thought of trying to get it on one of the transporters from the historics. Good idea though, I see there are a couple cars coming from near my house. I wont be looking at the car until monday though so they will probably already be on the road. I think I know a guy in san fran with a building I can park it in until I find a transporter but not sure.
David, thanks for the warning, Ive heard pretty bad things about oakland but the guy said "the good part" :lol:

Hey I know of a guy that is getting a car from Toronto (not sure how far that is from Vancouver) delivered to Milpitas, CA (east bay) maybe he'd like some return trip business. Let me know and I'll find out more info for you.

I'll be in pit #1, which is the first pit on the left after entering the paddock entrance gate. I'm trying to figure a way to con someone into letting me sit in a Chaparral! :)

Texdvldog, Toronto is about 3x further away from me than oakland is so I dont think that would work. ;) Thanks though.

Im gonna try and find a way to sit in a Cheetah lol so if you figure a good con let me know ;) . I was looking over the participant list and it looks like some wicked cars are going to be there. Leaving tommorow morning. Cant wait.
