I've been collecting parts for an ls swap but a deal on a evil 406 sbc that was too good to be true fell in my lap. currently my car has a junk 350 with patriot shorties that I had to mod to clear my tru-turn. and when I say mod, I mean pretty much kill the flow to clear the tie rods.

the problem is....this deep breathing, afr headed, 406 monster is going to need a much more substantial set of headers. so is anyone out there running a set of lemmon's or thorley tri-y's on a sbc with the tru-turn kit?

any insight is appreciated.

I'm running the thorley tri-y's with my TruTurn with no problems. There is very little clearance between the steering box arm and driver side header, but I have no issues but a little rubbin'.

Does Dynatech make a header for your specifications? They fit the truturn and the 600 series steering boxes as well

dynatechs hang waaaaayyyy too low. thorley's and lemmons tuck up into the sub.
