so here's a picture/photoshop of what i have planned for my car so far. i'd like to maintain a real subtle, almost resto-rod look with a pretty serious drivetrain (500 rwhp is my goal), but i'm more than willing to make subtle little changes to set the car off.
the car as it sits now is pretty much:
-78 firebird formula
-FACTORY chevrolet 350 (kiss my butt)
-stock suspension (bleh.)
-tko-500
-centerforce DF clutch
-demon 650 carb
-edelbrock performer rpm intake
-header back exhaust
my current plans are:
-vortech d1sc, intercooled
-rebuilt motor for boost (full botom end, splayed mains, heads, intake, boost-referenced carb mods, ignition, electric fuel pump, etc etc etc)
-hotchkis/global west suspension/subframe connectors/g-braces etc. aiming for a 2"-ish drop
-3.23 (MAYBE 3.73) geared detroit true-trac equipped 12 bolt (i hear moser sucks now?)
-bigtime upgraded fuel system (tbd depending on final motor setup)
-brakes, lines, etc., rear disk conversion
-steering box (advice here?)
-radiator, not sure on where to go here yet (rodney red?)
-wheel vintiques billet rallye 2's, 18x10 rear 18x8 front on...uh...tires (need help picking those too)
-repaired/tinted windows (lots of scratches, etc)
-HID headlight conversion
-refinish interior as needed, but generally maintain stock appearance
-refinish body as needed, but generally maintain stock appearance
what else would you guys do were it your car? dream big here with me guys, but try to dream relatively close to my ideas lol. all angles will be considered though.
