Hey I was just kind of wondering what kind of horns you guys/girls used?? Because I feel my horn has a different personality than my car. It makes a little beep barely louder than my spintech exhaust. So i wanted to see what some of you guys did!! Or if i am the only one suffering a little beeping horn!!

Later 90's Ford Tarus almost dropped into mine. Very loud and good tone.
I had the red Hella's and they were horrible.

I have the red Hella's... and really have no idea how they sound; the only time they honk is by accident.
Honestly the are not that bad but you have to use the pair... Either one on it's own is pretty horrible.

I put in dual horns from an F series truck, part # 4L3Z 13832 BA. Nice and loud. I had to modify my wiring a touch, but it was easy. The horns have the exact same connector as a fuel injector (EV6). Weird. I got the horns and connector off of ebay brand new for around $50.

Hmmm, so i am not the only one!! and Bonzo was the 4th gen horn a direct swap or did you have to modify the wiring. I am not wiring inclined!!

I am using a cheap really small and light horn that I picked up at the local surplus store. I think it was 5 bucks all it needs is power and ground.

I put a set of airhorns on my wifes Dodge Ram and I use the stock horns off of it on my '69 Camaro.

he lead for the 4th gen horns has two wires - hot & ground. stock 2nd gen horns ground through the mount, so they have only a hot wire. so I just tied the ground wire to the support and grabbed the horn lead for hot. simple.
