There was a guy on Ebay that I found that made carbon fiber covers for the LS1 motors. I asked him if he made them for the LT1, he siad no, there was not enough interest. I couldn't believe that. He said if I found enough interest he could make them but the was going to be around $150 for them. So I decided to stick with the Vette covers & maybe make some carbon fiber ones myslef. Other than that, I have seen sheet alumimum plate bent to take the place of the plastic ones. I didn't like them as much as the Vette ones.

Street and performance make various covers for the LT1. But they come without a high price.

I saw Street & Performances booth at the Street Rod Nationals Friday & the only covers I saw that they offered were factory GM Vette covers that they have packaged up to look like it was theirs.
