Hey guys I'm new to the site. I'm building a 68 camaro and need some help/advice on brakes as I'm sure you guys have far more knowledge than me. I would like manual brakes unless you can give me a compelling reason to go with power.

Right now I am between this kit

Or doing these 6 piston willwoods upfront and getting some sort of disc set-up for the rear (this is where I need the most advice as I don't know what all is out there)

I am not set on these two and am open to any advice. Its going to be a street car that will be driven a fair amount, I will be buying wheels around the brakes so that is not a worry as to fitment.

Thanks for any/all advice.

If you have 15" wheels and plan on sticking with them you will have to go with the second kit: 11" front rotors six piston calipers . Bigger rotors are better, but as you know wheels must accommodate larger rotors but bigger rotors are $$$$.

I'm looking to go with 18's. Maybes 18's with 17's up front but that would be the smallest.

Anyone else have advice or kits to look for? I am going to try and order a kit this week.

You could try Tobin at KORE3 just to compare. You can't go wrong with Matt's or KORE3.
