Hey guys, after removing the outer wheeelhouses I exposed the insides of the rockers. It was filled with the typical road debris. I vac'ed it out and ran a bottle brush down inside as far as I could get but there is still some caked on "dirt" covering the surface rust. They are pretty solid but I want to treat these before welding the new houses in. Any suggestions as to how to get them to a point they can be treated with OSPHO (or better suggestion) then sealed with POR or undercoating?

I would bet sandblasting from both ends would just about do it. You could also cut them open to be sure before sealing the metal. a pressure washer has a soap reservoir on it, what if you filled it with ospho and blasted the mixture inside? drill several holes and spray oshpho inside that way, there are several ways to accomplish this task, just think outside the box to get inside.

Eastwood sells an internal frame coating that comes in a spray can with about a 2' long wand- you stick it all the way in, depress the button, and the coating sprays out 360 degrees as you pull the wand back out. Just vac out any loose stuff before coating.

Por-15 use a heavy wire and a sponge for the brush and soak it good.
