Yes, high-end custom wheels are a significant investment. But going custom is the only way to get exactly what you want in terms of fitment and finish. A case in point is this 18x12 Forgeline GA3 for Schwartz Performance Inc., finished with our new Satin Gunmetal powder coat on the center, Satin Black on the inner, and a Polished outer. And they opted for the exposed hardware option everywhere EXCEPT for the Forgeline logo at the bottom of the rim register. Very unique! What does a wheel like that run typically? I am looking for something very similar.

Based in large part on the above pictures, I ordered a similar wheel for my project. I want to give some major props to Forgeline for the quality and fast turnaround on these wheels! Even here going into their busy season, I had my wheels in just over 2 weeks from the date I placed the order! I don't know if that is typical, but I'm impressed! Here is a quick picture of one of mine, received today...

Thanx again Mark!

The photos look like the inner is a light grey or gun metal. Is it just my eyes?

Thanks Bryan! 2 weeks is definitely the short end of our turnaround cycle. I think that your order just happened to come in between the January rush (when all of the Grand Am teams are struggling to get wheels before Daytona) and the Spring rush (when people will be spending their tax returns). :)

Your GA3 looks great! Can't wait to see it on the car!

Well it is not just your eyes; I see it too. It looks black on the tire side of the inner and grey on the underside of the inner. That is crazy.

It has got to be a reflection from the lighting. I even double checked the original build sheet before responding. That inner was definitely Satin Black.

This actually looks kind of cool. I wonder what we'd have to charge to cover the cost of a two-tone inner?? :)

Corey,

I asked the exact same question of Mark while ordering, so it wasn't just you... ;) I'll see if I can get some more pictures when I'm at the wheels again. I can say for certain that mine are satin black inners. :)
